Jeff Davidson, 25, of Tampa helps guide the new sign for the David A. Straz. Jr. Center for the Performing Arts to its perch on Tuesday. The Straz Center, formerly called the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, is in downtown Tampa on a 9-acre site along the east bank of the Hillsborough River and is named for a Tampa financier and philanthropist. The Sign will be officially unveiled on Dec. 6. Davidson is an employee of Davidson Signs.
